The Old Crown originally opened as a public house, with a large saloon bar and two seperate side bars.

Later the Crown was converted into a traditional pub restaurant. Since 2008 the Old Crown under the management of Robert Twigden & Sarah Palmer successfully overtook and upheld the pride in the quality of our homemade food and line of real ales, recently winning an award for the quality of our ales.
